Why does it go up?
Ascending takes so much work.
Why can't life slide free?
It has a value
As precious as treasure.
A story as true.
That's why we invest,
toil, struggle up the steep slope.
Why we trudge onward.
To wave our arms up,
high up, and say with triumph
"this journey was mine."##
